Recognised as Rakiura National Park in 2002, Stewart Island is a destination that is offering everything that is excellent about natural New Zealand. Stewart Island features virgin forest, deserted beaches, rugged coastline, and is rich in bird and marine life.

Fly by helicopter from Queenstown to Stewart Island where our professional guides will be more than happy to share their local knowledge of the history, flora and fauna and what Island life is like. You are welcome to explore and enjoy the Island at your own pace with activities such as guided walks, kayaking, fishing, and diving available.

However a private tour to the magical Ulva Island in Paterson Inlet is a must-do experience and shows a glimpse into New Zealand’s ancient past. One of only a few open island sanctuaries in New Zealand, Ulva island offers a predator-free environment for rare and endangered birds including South Island Saddleback, Yellowhead, Rifleman, Stewart Island Robin and Stewart Island Brown Kiwi.

Visit Stewart Island by helicopter on a day trip including private guided tour of Ulva Island or stay overnight with boutique luxury lodge accommodation included.

We recommend that you select a date at the start of your stay in Queenstown so that if flights are delayed due to inclement weather we have time to rebook you on an alternative day. Departure time is indicative only and we will confirm this with you in our confirmation email.
